Kaaren, the angel on the right with the clay colored clothes on, invited us to make clay projects at her house on a beautiful summer afternoon. We brought our kids and they played in the sprinklers and gardens. They explored all the magical crevices of her yard including her 100 year old tree with magical 3 story tree house. I wished the day would never end and in fact, I went back after dinner to finish my totem I was making. I worked at it ferociously all day to get it done. I made an animal to represent each person in our family and spacer shapes to go between each. You can see Pamela and Christy in these photos too. 3 of my favorite women in Oregon! What a glorious summer day!
