Hollyhocks


My friend Eugena commissioned this piece and is using it at her outdoor cafe as a table top. Hollyhocks used to inspire my mom to want to paint since she had a painting of hollyhocks hanging in her art classroom high school. So, it's sentimental sort of to get to paint them. Thanks Mom for helping me love to paint.

Beautiful! I love hollyhocks so much. So it's made from an old door? Did you sand it down and then refinish it? Looks fantastic!
