The Owl and the Moth

It's been ages since I have painted a noncommission. November I think.. It's about time that I get going again. I finally got the bug and my husband gave me a whole afternoon free of children... plus two naptimes and a late night.. and I got to paint an owl. I'm still thinking about adding some highlights to the owl, but not sure. What do you think? I've been thinking about doing a spring bird series and I think this is the start... I'll do a birdsnest next... Already started.

I'd love your thoughts on this weird eclectic piece.

I love it! Of course! The owl has a lot of personality. He looks curious and friendly and inquisitive. Awesome!

I love it. Can I buy it? Are you making prints of it (we have a thing for owls over here). And I figured out that was paul...but you never know. I made a blog for Selina, posted her first post, and posted a comment...so some of us ARE that egocentric!! :)

I'm not selling the original of this one, but I can order prints, no problem. To reproduce it at 16 x 20 (the size of the original) is only $25.
Let me know if you want me to order it for you. :)
